1955 Chevy BelAir Nomad Project Car Excellent Restoration Candidate gas pump
1955 Chevrolet Nomad BelAir
Up for auction is a 1955 Chevy Nomad in good shape. Original eyebrows are there. Please check back for any updates in the listing or answers to questions. There are some small areas on drip rail that needs some work, nothing major. Body work is needed in some areas. Hood and doors need adjusting. Trunk pan has some small rot-through. Interior floors are excellent and have been repaired. Whoever did the lap weld on rear floor did an excellent job. The repairs are run-of-the-mill for these cars. Car sold with a clean California title in hand. Just assume that you will need new hardware, re-chroming trim parts, body work, etc., normal stuff with a frame off or just a body restoration. The repairs are run-of-the-mill for these cars. The car has had some prior body work and I cannot vouch for the quality--the car is in the condition that I found it in. Has both curved glass in good condition, no front window, has the tail gate glass, side door windows (both original and new) and wing windows (both original and new), and has new slider glass. This car is a perfect candidate for a frame-off restoration. There are some areas that needs body work but nothing looks major. No motor or trans. Doors need hardware. There is a drive shaft. I cannot find the vin tag, but I will post and update if/when I find it. I have taken many pictures of the car, so please take time to view all of the photos and ask all questions before placing your bid. Yes, I will gladly have any parts that you order and pay for from either Classic Industries or Danchuk's picked up at no charge. If you are an out-of-state buyer, I will log all of your parts into a list and forward that list with photos before your car is shipped/delivered to you. Also, parts of this car are readily available on Ebay as well. I can ship internationally. I can deliver the Nomad after payment is received (if on a weekday, if not, it will be delivered the next business day) to your shipper. I will deliver the title to your shipper as soon as it is received. This car is being sold as-is, there is no warranty express or implied. Again, this car is a perfect candidate for frame-off restoration. The eyebrow pieces are there. I have pictured all of the parts/pieces, including stainless, that come with the car. Please take time to look through each photo. I will be posting additional photos on my website, and I will post a link on this page directing you to the additional photos. Also, please give us time to respond to your questions. I will answer honestly and accurately to the best of my knowledge. |

*******. ******** I HAVE ADDED MANY ADDITIONAL PICTURES OF THE NOMAD AND THE PARTS THAT COME WITH IT ON MY WEBSITE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. THERE IS SOME STAINLESS MISSING, BUT YOU CAN GET IT. THE EYEBROWS ARE ORIGINAL AND THE SET (6 PIECES) ARE ALL THERE. I HUNG THE SPEAR ON ONE DOOR (PASSENGER) BUT DID NOT HANG THE SPEAR ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR, THOUGH IT IS THERE INSIDE OF THE NOMAD.
THE CURVED GLASS IS THERE--IT APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL--I HAVE ADDED PHOTOS OF BOTH AS WELL.
