1968 Chevrolet Camaro
Hi EveryoneFirst and four-most I am going to to try to be as honest and forthright as possible in my ad, but please try to remember everyone sees things different so if at all possible please try to come see the car for yourself. I would be more then happy to take you for a spin "literally". If within reason I would be happy to drive the car to an inspection site as well or your welcome to have it inspected at my home. If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment to check out the Camaro please call Miller at 310 409 6541Up for sale is my Beloved 68 Camaro pro touring project lots of money and time has gone into making this car run very strong, but unfortunatelyunforeseen financial issues will not allow me to finish the project but rather i'm being forced to sell it. So here is the good and the bad.
BODY: Rust free 1968 Camaro that has been mini tubbed with a roll cage the cross bar is removable so the back seat is useable.
MOTOR: Less then a 1000 MIles on a 700 hp 2002 LS1 Aluminum block Stroked to a 388 Cid with a water cooled Magna-charger, fully ported heads, Texas Speed cam, Scat Forged Rods/pistons and APR bolts.
TRANSMISSION: Fully built t56 with MGW short throw shifter.
CLUTCH: McLeod t56 triple disk hydraulic clutch.
REAR END: Less then 250 miles on a Fully built 10 bolt with C clip eliminators, Moser 30 spline alloy axels, Truetrac posi unit with 4.10 gear.
THE BAD: I have that comes with the sale all new still in the packages stewart warner maximum performance gauges but will need to be installed. I have Tach, Speedo, Boost, Fuel, Water temp, Oil temp, Oil pressure, Amp, I'm sure I have forgotten some when I ordered them I said just give me every gauge available. The Wilwood master cylinder reservoir has a very slow leak, I believe it is a gasket but a new set up is 55 or 60 dollars. The Roof rail seals and retainers need to be installed classic industries as them for 180 for the retainers and 54 for the seals. The Hood need to be adjusted "We just quickly dry fitted it to check the cut for the blower", abrake proportioning valve should be installed, the car stops but the brakes are soft " I was going to upgrade to a complete wilwood setup so i never bothered to do it"
Well, here's some pictures... Please keep in mind she has been sitting for some time, I am so upset having to sell her I didn't even bother to wash it. She needs a little cleaning up but for the most part besides the stuff mentioned in "The Bad" she is very impressive on the road. I also have videos of her driving but I was not able to figure out how to post them to the ad, if your interested in seeing them, let me know and we can figure out a way to get them to you. Happy Bidding.
