Real deal documented 1969 Chevy Camaro RPO-L78 X66D80,car has original vin stamped heavy duty CX coded T-400 trans and BT0603G1 12bolt posi 3.55 multi leaf rear-endX66D80 SS396 with front and rear spoilers originallyOriginal cowl tag has never been off car, nd has been inspected behind cowl.Car was de-trimmed of SS badging back in the day for some reason and engine was swapped out for aluminum ZL-1 427 engine COPO/Yenko type setup for street racing...I put a real 427 out of a copo in it runs great SS front fenders were replace for NOS fenders with no drilled holes and blue bow tie emblems where in front grill and rear tail panel. Was this a dealer Super Car conversion is unknown car comes with original CX trans (only for L78/L89 and COPO L72 and ZL1 cars) and original BT coded rear.original CH coded HD radiator rebuilt runs coldCar is super rock solid, as had full frame off restoration bottom and firewall done, ub-frame completed disassembled and media blasted and recoated in correct chassis black, ll new suspension, all joints, ie rods ect..done. All new body bushings, ew front big block springs.Double COPO front sway bar, ll new brakes front and rear, orrect master cylinder and Delco Moraine booster and proportioning valve.New fuel system, ank sender ect...Original BT 3.55 gear posi rear-end rebuilt, ew multi leaf rear spring, ushing mounting hard ware.All new interior in boxes still, ll new gauges and console.was kind of a survivor type car with a vintage repaintGM didn't offer Tuxedo black as a RPO code in the start of the 69 model year and dealer brochures didn't list as a option, id year it was available for a up charge but most didn't know. So a lot of cars got color changed after delivery. This car was a factory code 69 69 Cortez Silver that was changed to Tuxedo Black back in the day.Super rare car RPO-L78 that also comes with Certificate of Authenticity
