1937 Chevrolet Suburban

After years of service in the Military with TexArcan Arsenal, his Suburban found it's way to Jacksonville Florida, nd then to our South East Florida home to be rebuilt in the late Nineties, fter 4 years of sweat and busted knuckles, t was done and on the road. Has been in many car shows all over the USA, nd has won many trophies. It was given a feature article in Rodder's Digest in 2004.
Exterior: Sheet metal, asically stock. Smooth Running Boards replace original. Rally Wheels with 205-75-15 front tires, ilver Rally pain, beauty bands and small hubcaps complete wheel package.All dings, ents, nd rust were fabricated and hammered to perfection. Only modification to the outside are the fabricated Smoothie Running Boards, nd addition of '37 Chevy passenger taillights. Stock Headlights improved with Halogen bulbs. Reproduction stainless steel bumpers in front and back. Paint by Dupont. From the rear split Tailgate, he upper half of the rear hinges up while lower hinges down, reat for tailgating at any car show.
Vertical Grill Bars. Stock hinges were meticulously restored and reattached with stainless steel bolts.
'55 Chevy rear axle housing from Heights was mounted to the stock. Power Disc Brake, ack and Pinion Steering.
Interior:
There are 2 front bucket seats from an 84 Nissan. There is a back bench seat and a large flat platform area behind that. 3 sets of roll down windows. Seats, culptured headliner, nd door panels are done in Bone Naugahyde Vinyl, ncorporated with interior lighting. There is a fabricated custom Dash by Classic Instruments. Vintage Air for the AC and Alpine Stereo.
Engine:
250 HP-350 Chevy Crate Motor. Behind small block, 00-4 automatic overdrive passes the power back to the rear. Walker Radiator.
