1987 Cadillac Sedan DeVille D'Elegance As they say a car only comes original once! This Classic Cadillac has all the comforts of your finest living room. They sure don't make them like this anymore. I purchased this sweet Classic Cadillac d'Elegance from an elderly couple who made the purchase on March 19th of 1987. They said they paid $28,600 way back then. That was a huge amount of money back in the 1980's. Only people of prominence could afford to drive a car like this in those days. I bought this Caddy in a ritzy northern suburb of Chicago and it has been garage kept from day one. This car was the previous owners pride and joy all these years. They also told me they mainly used this car on long road trips to Arizona and Florida, o the majority of the miles on this car were highway miles. I have to say that this Cadillac is an absolute pleasure to drive. In my opinion this is one of the most attractive color combinations Cadillac has ever made. I saw no evidence of this car ever being involved in any accidents, nd I believe it has all of its original paint. This car is being sold with an open, lean, nd clear original title issued in the State of Illinois on June 16th 1987. This car was always religiously pampered to oil changes every 2500 miles. This Cadillac is powered by a heavy duty DieHard Gold battery and starts right up every time. The engine is original and the reliable rare 5.0 liter not the 4100 that had so many issues. This land yacht floats down the road effortlessly, nd the cruise control still engages with finger tip control. I haven't found anything on this car that does not work. The sound system still sounds like brand new. The climate control air conditioning is ice cold and the heat works great. The head light system has all been updated to halogen. The interior is in spectacular condition for a 28 year old car. I didn't see any wear on the soft leather. The pictures don't really do the interior justice. This has to be one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven. It looks as if no one has ever even sat in the back seat. I saw no signs of anyone even using the ash trays, nd the original owners told me that no one has ever smoked in this car. All four lighters still work. All of the factory decals in the engine compartment and all around this car still exist. The previous owners said that the current mileage showing is absolutely with all certainty the 100% original mileage on this car. The inside ofthe trunk has the original jack and space saver spare tire. Even the original spare tire cover is still in place along with all the original trunk matting. It doesn't look like the spare tire or the jack has ever been used. The original Cadillac Brougham owner's manual, he Gold Key card, he Gold Key delivery system manual, nd the Roadside Service manual are all included inside the Cadillac leather case in the glove box. These older full size classics that have survived for almost 30 years are becoming harder and harder to find in this rare original condition. This is a true luxury car in every sense of those words that I can't see anyone being disappointed with. Whatever this classic Cadillac sells for in this "No Reserve" auction is a win/win investment. I think anyone would be proud to own this very special well kept automobile. This car is for the guy or girl who previously had one of these older classics or remembers the good times that they had in their parents Cadillac, r just plain misses driving around in the lap of luxury. Maybe the new owner wants to show off at their high school reunion to prove how cool they still are. Dare I say it might be the perfect car for the younger generation that would like to place a set of 24" inch wheels on this full size luxury classic. Anyway, ere is a prime opportunity to acquire a sweet fully loaded Cadillac at a nominal price. This is a turn Gold Key Cadillac that I feel would easily make it across country.
