1941 Cadillac 61 Sedanette

This 1941 Cadillac 61 Sedanette is a stunning vehicle that has been restored with great attention to detail. The owner has had it for 3 years and it runs perfectly, with a mileage of 104000. The car is mainly used for car shows and other special events, and it is sure to turn heads wherever you go. The color is a vibrant Valcour Maroon that is sure to catch the eye, and the title is clean. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of history, and it is not to be missed. War was already on the horizon even as 1941 models were introduced in September 1940 in North America. The United States was already shifting to war-related production, economic activity that was clearing out the last malaise of the Great Depression and renewing the automobile market. Cadillac’s new designs featured a lower alligator hood, tapering trunks and streamlined fenders. The headlights were recessed into the fenders flanking a bold eggcrate grille and both front and rear fenders were accented with three slim chrome spears. Running boards had virtually disappeared. Under the hood Cadillac’s V-8 engine was rated at 150hp. Cadillac’s B-body offering for 1941 was the Series 61, introduced to replace La Salle after that brand was discontinued. The sedan was distinguished by its tapered, beautiful, elegant fastback rear, similar to the aerodynamic coupes of the 1930s.
