This 1988 Cadillac Seville is an original with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver.

Vehicle Details

1988 Cadillac Seville 4.5L V8. Very nice condition NO rust or rot anywhere and runs and rides like a dream. It has been my daily driver. 163k miles. I’m the second owner.

There’s a few tlc things but nothing major, mostly: there’s a crack in the windshield (that doesn’t really obstruct the view, it’s low and horizontal along the dashboard maybe 6in up) the ceiling upholstery is loose (easy fix just haven’t done it), something (maybe a stick) fell into the heat/airconditioning fans and makes a loud noise when running especially on high but otherwise functions (I have not had time to open it up and find out what’s in there), an engine cooling fan error message comes on when you turn on the car but it isn’t broken says the mechanic (if you touch any button on the computer on the dashboard, it shuts the error message off immediately (it comes with new in the box fans if they should fail)) and there are some small dents in the passenger side doors from the previous owner as shown in the photos (maybe a suction cup guy could make it better, never tried). an engine control system light comes on the dashboard occasionally, but goes off quickly, it may be the oxygen sensor, I bought it but did not install it, it comes with the car. The retractable antenna and tape deck are broken, but the radio works. Any color variation in the photos is due to lighting and cloud cover changes while I was photographing.

New intake gasket, new ac compressor, new fuel sending unit, newly installed used transmission (it has been in the car for 2000 miles and works great), new serpentine belt, new air pump. No catalytic converter (that’s the modification in the drivetrain). very well maintained.

it comes with lots of spare brand new maintenance parts: 1 air, 1 fuel and 2 oil filters, 4 qts atf fluid, front and rear break pads, 2 engine electric cooling fans, new Bosch oxygen sensor, new set of NGK spark plugs and 2 brand new Tornel classic white line tires. Everything you need for the next tuneup!

It’s exempt from inspection here in NJ due to age, also qualifies for antique plates if you wish. Trying to be as transparent as possible but it really does look and run great, I’d drive it anywhere. All instruments, lights and switches work etc minus the antenna as stated above. Ready to go around town or to cruise night or whatever you’d like. It is running great and has been reliable, but is otherwise sold as is. please ask any questions, and I will be glad to answer and if you need more photos, let me know. Thanks!
