Description:

1964 Cadillac DeVille

This 1964 Cadillac DeVille Convertible is a head-turner with its iconic tail fins and classic American luxury design.

Equipped with a 429 cubic inch (7.0-liter) V8 engine, it's 340 horsepower is paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission, which was a first for Cadillac in that year. The 429 V8 was known for its smooth power delivery, making it a key component of Cadillac’s reputation for providing a luxurious driving experience. The champagne exterior and cream interior make for a striking combination that always gets noticed. With 106,369 miles on the odometer, this car is fun to drive and brings a lot of joy to its owner. This Cadillac is more than just a car—it’s a conversation piece. Every time you take it out, people roll down their windows to ask about it. It’s a fun ride that always draws attention. We bought this about 10 years ago, and it has been so much fun for our family. We’ve loved this car and hope you do too.It is a clean daily driver that could be a great starting place for your next car show champ. It's not perfect but it has everything you need.

If you have any questions or require additional photo or video, feel free to ask and we will make every attempt to provide answers and photos.

I've tried to capture flaws in the photos but feel free to ask any questions. I will say, the AC / heat do not work. Please read description with regards to the top, transmission etc

Exterior Condition:The exterior is in good shape with minor dings and scratches typical for a car of this age. It was brushed with another driver a year ago - - the molding is coming up a bit in that spot and there are some superficial scratches. See photo. The paint still shines, and the chrome accents add to its vintage appeal. The Continental kit on the back adds an extra stylish touch.

Interior Condition:Inside, the cream leather seats show some wear but are free of rips and tears. The interior is about a 60/100, maintaining that authentic vintage feel. We added front and backseat seatbelts have been installed and a Boss radio with Bluetooth connectivity to enjoy your favorite music from your phone.

Mechanical Condition:This DeVille runs well, and the engine and transmission are in working order. The convertible top motor runs, but the top doesn’t currently go up and down, so it will need some attention. The transmission sometimes slips a bit and is probably due for some love but as you can see in the videos, it still has plenty of get up and go. The muffler will need repair. The tires are old and will need to be replaced. I have adjusted the opening bid price to reflect these issues.

Historical Significance:This car is a classic piece of 1960s Americana, known for its sleek tail fins and smooth ride. The 1964 DeVille was one of Cadillac’s most popular models, and its convertible version has been featured in movies and TV shows, making it a favorite among collectors.

Additional Details:Check out the photos and videos from August 11 to see the car’s condition, including a video of the cold start and it driving.
