Description:

1992 Cadillac Brougham

For sale is my fantastic 1992 Cadillac Brougham. This is a well-preserved time capsule in VERY good condition. Original and unrestored. Classy, comfortable, reliable and very well-maintained. About to hit 31,000 miles.
Mechanical condition: Everything works except the power antenna (though radio reception works fine). Fully original with no modifications. I would comfortably drive this on any long-distance road trip (except I wouldn't want to get it dirty!).
Looks: No paint fade, no body rust, no seat wear, no cracks in the dashboard or door panels. Vinyl top is perfect. Bumper fillers and fender fillers in excellent shape. Always garaged and hand washed. Never driven in the rain - I did not want any puddles splashing on the rocker panels.
Blemishes (see pics):1. Some superficial clear coat scratches that you have to look very close to see2. Scuffs on the bumper moldings (I think the original owner may have scraped them backing out of the garage3. Fiberglass filler under the back license plate fuel door is cracked (this is common on every GM vehicle with a fuel door in that location
Extras:1. I replaced the engine coolant with EvansCool waterless coolant after learning about it on Jay Leno's Garage (see his. This eliminates corrosion from the cooling system and will make the vehicle last years longer.Waterless Engine Coolant - Jay Leno's Garage (youtube.com)2. I upgraded the wheels to 70-spoke Cadillac wire wheels like the ones that were an option from Cadillac Dealers in 1992. These are knock-off rims and the hex key and lead hammer are included. Changing a tire is much simpler than with lugs. I have been very pleased with them.
I have had this car for 6 years and loved every day of it. I drive it once a week and on special occasions and am constantly receiving compliments and offers to purchase it. So . . . . be aware that if someone local makes an acceptable offer, I may end the listing early. I hate to sell this. But I've recently had a death in the family, and my obligations have increased significantly. There just isn't much time for enjoying my toys. This car has been very good to me and I'm sure the next owner will enjoy it just as much as I have.
