1969 Cadillac Eldorado

Vehicle Details

Always a West Coast Car, this two-owner Eldorado has travelled only 32,000 miles. The first owner purchased the car at Sparling Cadillac Co. in Seattle, WA on June 13, 1969. Along with the car, you will find copies of the original purchase papers and some repair invoices that document the vehicles’ mileage. The car is solid, and drives the way you would expect a 32K mile car to perform. A professional body and paint man was consulted to examine the minor surface rust that was visible, but found nothing serious. There is no sign of rust in the critical, or usual places, including; the floor pans, the trunk pan, the body mounts, or any other structural places. There is also no dirt or debris filling the underside crevasses. Some minor repair and damage was found on the right rear quarter panel. For this panel, a replacement wheel-well stainless trim piece is included. The body and paint man stated several times that “this is an honest 32,000 mile car which had to have been kept in a garage.” At some point, the original owner removed the vinyl roof covering, and installed later model turbine wheels. Items included with the sale of this vehicle include the following: stainless trim for a new vinyl top, a new hood insulation pad, a turn signal cancel cam, an NOS left door panel skin, and two new door handles. Other areas needing attention with the car include the thin and weathered paint, a minor leak from the transmission (new gasket included), and an A/C system that needs to be converted from R-12 Freon, to the more available 134a. Additional photos are available on request. NOTE: Though not included with this purchase price, there are 5 original wheels and 5 hubcaps in very nice condition. These items were recently purchased for $1,260, and are currently available for that amount.
