Vehicle Details

1966 Cadillac Sedan Deville LS swapped with 4L60E A/T. Built in Los Angeles and purchased by a professor at UCLA- I removed the Faculty sticker that was dated '66. Factory black on white car, originally had a vinyl top. I purchased the car in 2015 and removed the top immediately, rust repair was completed by @skotychops on the bottoms of the sail panels, around the rear window, and the sides of the windshield. The car has ZERO rust, and no body filler. Started the metal finishing process with 120 grit, coated with WD40 and metal polish. There are a few repairs needed to make this a really nice show car, or you can hide with filler. The roof and around the hood and trunk are epoxy primer, the hood and deck lid were recently sprayed in a 2 stage Axalta GM paint code8555, similar to House of Kolors Jet Black. Hood and trunk were factory black- no filler, no repairs, the original black was scuffed and shot. A couple of small dings in the hood, but both are original, original paint underneath. No corners have been cut in preserving and updating this project with the following:

- 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L LS with 4L60E with 135K-ish miles

- Holley Dominator fuel injection with handheld controller

- PML retro Cadillac valve covers with Delmo billet adaptor plates

- Entire front clip was removed, stripped down to frame rails. Stripped, epoxy primed, and satin black top coat

- Holley 4 BBL throttle body to fit retro air cleaner

- In-tank fuel pump

- Brake system upgraded to OEM 1972 Cadillac El Dorado - master cylinder, brake calipers and rotors

- Entire front end was rebuilt

- Radiator rebuilt, fuel tank cleaned and pressure tested by Western Radiator

- Ridetech CoolRide rear air spring brackets

- Ridetech HQ rear shocks

- Ridetech HQ front ShockWaves with OEM control arms

- Accuair eLevel eLevel air mgmt with SwitchSpeed controller

- Dual VIAIR 400c compressors

- Brand new headliner, side panels and sunvisors in factory white OEM material

- Very quiet exhaust all the way out with 2 mufflers and 2 mini glasspacks/ resonators

This car needs body and paint, and a few things to be completely finished. Still needs A/C lines made and installed and the front passenger window can only be controlled by the passenger switch. Gauges are currently only on the handheld Holley unit.
