1964 Cadillac Deville Convertible

129k, 29 V8. Options include power windows, ower top, ix way power bench seat, uto dimming headlights, ower brakes and power steering. Does not have the problematic climate control of this era, as regular temperature and fan controls. Selling the '64 due to finances and I am also considering selling my 1982 Hess & Eisenhardt Eldorado convertible as well, etails below. Cadillacs from this era are steadily climbing in value, specially the 1963 and 1964 body styles. Average retail value of a 64 Caddy convertible is $26k, s you can see at the link below from Hagerty.com:
https://www.hagerty.com/price-guide/1964-Cadillac-DeVille"Cadillac continued to list its premium Series 62 hardtops as "de Ville" models through 1964. Along with exterior refinements for 1964, new 340-hp 429-cid engine replaced the 390-cid variants of 1959-63, nd the Turbo-Hydramatic was introduced. Devilles of this era are relatively affordable today. As period Cadillac convertible values climb with the speed of an Atlas rocket, ny top-notch hardtop or convertible DeVille looks all the more appealing today."

Mechanical:It has always had regular maintenance performed on schedule. I was told the 129k on the odometer is original, y mechanic thinks it is genuine as well. Recent work includes brakes, xhaust, ull tuneup and front end work including bushings and ball joints, nd a set of new wide whitewall tires. The power windows work perfectly, he driver's window motor was recently replaced. The power top works as well, he top was replaced about 10 years ago. The lights work, he heater works, he radio works when you turn in on and off a few times, he power antenna works and the power seat works but the switch needs replacing, ew switch included. Clock does not work, as gauge can be finicky, trumpet" horn works. No leaks from anywhere, arage floor always dry when I pull her out. The front springs are worn and should be replaced. Always starts easily and has lots of power from the 429 V8.

Cosmetic:the interior was in good to excellent shape when I bought the car except for the carpet and the driver's side of the front seat. The dash, oor panels, ear panels and back seat were perfect. I replaced the carpet with factory shaped and style carpet; underneath the carpet and padding the floor was completely solid, o soft spots or repairs to the sheetmetal. I had the front seat reupholstered in the factory style; the cushions, prings and folding armrest were done and I had the shop add heated seats, hey have high and low settings and workbetterthan most factory heated seats. The chrome bumpers and brightwork are in great shape, he front bumper ends are solid (common spot for corrosion as water gathers in the bumper corners), ot a hint of corrosion showing. The paint is original and looks better in the photos than in person; it's presentable but dull, had planned on doing a nice paint job in the original white. Some small spots of body fill were done on a few spots on the body but no sheetmetal needed to be repaired. The floors, rame and trunk are solid, o patches anywhere as you see in the photo and the inner fenders are original and solid as well.I no longer have the boot cover; the clips and snaps needed replacement and while on the highway it came loose and tore mostly off. Overall she's very straight as you can see in the pix, ll the door close easily as well as the trunk and hood.

Runs very strong, he 428 V8 is nice and powerful and the car brakes evenly, o pulling or fading. She idles evenly, emperature needle never varies, hifts smoothly, racks straight and stops easily. A very dependable, ool old cruiser that's fun to take to car shows and can be used as a daily driver.

Rare 1982 Cadillac Eldorado Hess And Eisenhardt Convertible

65k original miles. Every option including touring suspension (which still works), igital cassette stereo with working display, igital dash, ilting and telescoping steering wheel, plit dual power bench seats, ual visor lighted vanity mirrors, limate control, ower top with boot cover and rare aluminum spoke wheels (not hubcaps). For those familiar with these 79-85 Eldorado convertibles, he Hess & Eisenhardt conversion is considered to be the most desirable. The top mechanism works easily, he top is made of heavy duty canvas with a thick roof liner inside to keep road noise to a minimum and is overall a high quality build. The top was replaced about ten years ago with the glass back window and "coach lights" mounted on the inside of the convertible top for courtesy lamps. The low mileage is original, he white leather is gorgeous with no cracking or staining even on the driver's seat. The interior overall is in excellent condition, o cracking on the door panels, ash or any of the standard spots that show wear on this era Cadillac. Recent work includes exhaust, ront CV joints, pgraded A/C to modern freon and new bumper and fender fillers all around. The fuel injected V8 starts with the touch of the key. Everything works including the cruise control, he digital dash, lluminated indicators on the fenders, igital display on the stereo, ower antenna, indows automatically go down when top is dropped, ower top works without "help" necessary and both the hood and trunk stay open without assistance. The paint is original but still shines up nicely and the chrome is close to perfect.
