I purchased this beautiful Fleetwood Sedan Deville d'Elegance from a couple who had owned it since new. The prior owners took tremendous care of the car, it was their baby, and it shows.

I've owned this car for 2 years and did list it on ebay last fall and pulled it off after I had driven it again (it's such a nice driver), since that time I've had the carburetor overhauled ($396.65), the rear end serviced ($212.72) and new tires installed ($478.13).I've got my eye on another new oldie so looking to make space.

Exterior: - Condition is consistent with a 1979 115k mile car that has been babied throughout its life. - Body is nice and straight, with no dents or body rust, there is one small ding on the bottom of the passenger rear fender, not noticeable unless pointed out. There is no bubbling to be found on this car.Dry and well kept. - Paint is original and very good throughout, with slight areas of lighter color on the hood, typical of GM during this period, I had a 1979 Seville with the same issue, not noticeable unless pointed out. Rear Bumper and trunk fillers have just been replaced owing to age cracking.Top is in fantastic shape and shows no signs of age or wear. The pale blue color of the top looks very elegant against the Cerulean Blue Firemist paint.

The chrome is very good throughout, wheels are in great shape, with no curb rash or oxidation, whitewall tires are brand new. The Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. Car has an after-market Chrome Grill which really adds an air of authority to the car.

Interior: - Interior is very nice throughout. All powered systems are functional. This includes the original radio, air conditioning, fan/heat, defrost, all gauges, all interior and exterior lights, locks, seat adjusts, and power windows. - Light Blue pillow cloth seats are in great shape. No burst seams, tears, scuffs, or stains, very soft and comfortable and the cloth doesn't sweat like leather does. Rear seats are as-new. Original carpeting is in nice shape, as are the floormats. Dash and steering wheel are mint both on top and facing the driver. The antenna works but has been connected to a non-power antenna that provides better reception.

Under the Hood /Underbody: - S-code 425ci V8 is original to the car and is in very good working order. Truly drives phenomenally well. No tendencies of any concern whatsoever. The car doesn't stutter or hesitate under acceleration, tracks straight down the road, and brakes very well. Prior owner states that full transmission rebuild 15K miles ago.I just had the carburetor rebuilt as it was a delayed start when cold (you had to pump 8-10 times), now starts right up ! Wouldn't hesitate to fly in and drive home.Car comes with the owner's manual and accompanying booklets.This is an extremely nice and original single-family-owned Fleetwood Sedan Deville D'Elegance with Fleetwood Interior and Factory Original Sunroof thatis rare, I spent 7 years looking for this particular car with the color combination and sunroof option.
