Individual private collector of classic cars is thinning out his inventory and has decided to sell this beautiful 69,000 original mileage 1960 Cadillac Series 62 2-door hardtop.The Caddie went through a 'frame-on' restoration approximately 20 years ago which included new paint and some re-upholstery repair.Body and floors appear very solid, no holes and body mounts look secure.
Chrome is in good to fair condition; wiper scratches on passenger side of windshield, otherwise all of the glass is excellent.
When the initial work was done, the engine and transmission were inspected and appeared to need nothing.The car then sat for about 18 years and was rarely driven. Recently, (within the past year) the transmission was serviced, new brakes and hardware were installed, water pump and hoses, generator, rebuilt carburetor, tires, complete new dual exhaust, and power steering pump.
Car starts, runs, and rides great.There is NO A/C, NO power windows, NO power antenna, and NO power seats.This was a very basic entry level Cadillac.
