This is a Hot Rod conversion that was done by a Shop in Arizona over 20 years ago.If you are looking for a Original to restore, STOP looking now.Nice start to a Hot Rod, Rat Rod, or Restomod. Actual mileage is unknown.
This Cadillac has a Small Block Chevy and a turbo 350 transmission.After market gauges working. Original temp gauge, and gas gauge do not function.Head lights, turn signals, brake lights all work.
The Coupe is running, driving, and currently registered in California. Thumbs Up Everywhere..
I have driven it locally to the cars shows and local events.
New factory reproduction fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, and carburetor.
New power steering pump and belt.
Original drum power brakes were redone, cylinders rebuilt. riveted pads and turned drums.Glass
Electric windows all work, there is a short at the drivers switch for the passengers window,but it works from the passengers switch. Front wind shield has a couple BB pits at Driver side.All other glass is original and in good condition. Needs window felt.PaintLooks good from 20 feet. Runs. drips, fish eyes and errors, poor prep and some peeling.
BodyFor the most part looks straight, has had some elbow finder dents and door dings.Rust is minimal, a couple small bubbles on passenger side roof, and on rear trunk lid, see pictures.Trunk is solid. Original chrome is on the car, Doors, and locks work, needs some adjustment. Trunk latches properly, needs a trunk key. Note the 2 rear bumper ends were welded up where the original exhaust is located. Exhaust exits behind the rear wheel. Original replacement rear bumper ends are available to the winner for $400.00 extra. Not a part of the auction. See picture.
Speed odometer, radio, horn, do not work. The vehicle is also fitted with a tilt steering wheel thatis not stock to the car. Car has A/C and compressor, not cold, have not checked it out.The hoses up against the fire wall are for the heaters and blowers in the rear window. Fan is working.

I acquired this Cadillac on partial trade for a race car. The intention was to build a low ridingCadillac Rat Bomb. All the right bones are there. No time or interest to finish due to other projects.This is a great start for someone and priced to sell.
