1963 Cadillac Series 62

This car originally came from California and was brought to New Mexico in 1990.It was owned by an older gentleman here in town and sat in his driveway unused for 10 years until I bought it.This is a daily driver for me and runs great.The body is rust free and straight.The chrome is shiney and has no pitting. Only rust spot is under the passenger lower bumper size of quarter.The headliner and rear seat are very nice but the front seat will require recovering. Currently has a seat cover over it.The door panels are nice bit have a few water stains each.The passenger side windows will need to be troubleshooted. it needs assistence to lower. The drivers side windows go down fine.The wipers do not activate with the switch. Signals and lights work fine.It has a fresh battery, almost new looking tires with no dry rot and deep tread.All the glass is good with no cracks. The windshield has one stone pock mark but no cracks.The trunk is very clean no rust or holes and has a original spare cover.The car rides very quietly and has good power. The brakes have not been gone thru but it stops well.Power steering works fine.Starts right up when cold.The body has a few tiny scrapes and dings but no crash damage - study the pictures.While this might be driven home, it is old and you should be prepared for such a journey by carrying a AAA membership.Personally, I'd drive this across country tomorrow as it has yet to fail me. Santa Fe is not a bad place to visit!This model has no AC and if you are driving through the Mojave you may be hot. Fortunately the car is white and driving around here in Santa Fe at 7000 feet is not so miserable.The radio works.Original owners manual in original pouch and factory shop manual included!
The virtues of this car:Solid rust free body.Wreck-free bodyGood glass throughoutNon smoking, no smell, no rodent damage.It's a nice driver - restore the cosmetics while you enjoy and drive or live with the patina as I have.
The Buy it Now is well below what I have in car and I believe is a super fair price for a cruiser like this.
