BECAUSE LIFE IT TOO SHORT TO DRIVE A BORING CAR!! The Classic Car Gallery 2316 Fairfield Ave. Bridgeport, Ct 06605 203-446-3477 1964 Cadillac Deville Convertible "Sympathetic restoration, wonderful condition, well sorted!!" Vin 626BODYFW11025 Cadillac, the word is ubiquitous, in the automotive world, with the high quality, luxury and size. The Deville was Cadillacs high line luxury car and was manufactured and marketed from 1952 to 2002 over ten different design iterations. The 1964 Deville Convertible offered all of the best that Cadillac had to offer in... the mid 1960's. The car was big, stylish and ultra-luxurious with great performance. These cars remain unmatched in the automotive world. For the 1964 design featured an updated slanted back towards both the bumper and the hood lip. New forward slanting front pillars with non-wraparound windshield glass were seen. The car on offer here is a lovely 1964 Cadillac Deville Convertible. The car shows 82,205 miles, and we believe this mileage to be original. The car has been collector owned for many years and is being sold on behalf of an estate. The car has been sympathetically restored over the years and is in wonderful condition. We have records going back to 2000 and they show the following maintenance and restorative work; -New interior (by Walt Carol 3/2003) -motor mounts -shocks -rechromed bumpers -new stainless steel moldings -Paint -new convertible top -radiator hoses -Restoration of Kelsey Hayes Wire wheels The car remains in wonderful mechanical and cosmetic condition. The car was repainted in its original Firemist Red; the paint and bodywork is EXCELLENT. I cannot stress how straight the body is on this car!! This is a very large car, and shows beautifully. All panels are straight and true, with great shine and luster. The restored trim shows as new and all rubber is fresh and pliable. The interior was restored in its correct red leather and the seats and all interior panels and dash are excellent. The red convertible top has been restored and the electric top works well. All power windows work as do all of the electrical switches in the car. The heat and heater controls work as they should; the air conditioning does NOT work, but all of the a/c equipment is present. The original 429 CID engine runs well and makes good power and torque. The original automatic transmission shifts smoothly and performs as it should. The Kelsey Hayes wire rims are in as-new condition. The underside of the car is solid, no issues and excellent The car runs and drives as well as it looks. Please feel free to make an appointment to come and inspect the car, as pictures do not do it justice. Bid with confidence, as this is a wonderful car and needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner. Please feel free to call 203-446-3477 or email if we can answer any of your questions.
