1970 Cadillac Eldorado front wheel drive with 400 horsepower. The car was repainted in bronze paint and it remains in superb shape. The windshield, rear wind screen, and vinyl top were removed, cleaned.The vinyl top and the rear window trim were replaced.Considerable funds were expended to perform expensive, delayed maintenance including: new brakes; drive axles; drive axle bearings; pitman and idler arms; all front suspension and sway bar bushings; braided stainless flexible brake lines. Both upper and lower control arms, torsion bars, and bearings cages were removed, steam cleaned and repainted in gloss black. The power steering pump has been replaced along with both hoses.Original steering gear box rebuilt by Red Head.Engine now runs on Mobil 1 and the transmission was switched to synthetic lube when serviced recently.New stainless exhaust system.New Michelin tires, front shocks, and front-end alignment. New starter and battery with 810 CCA.Extensive records for everything. The climate control system does not function - seems to be a switch problem.The fan works using a switch installed by a previous owner under the dashboard.A new radiator (still in the box) is included in the trunk.
As one might expect - it drives like a Cadillac! The existing radiator has a minor leak but the cars drives well regardless.
