Listed for sale is a 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible. I have owned the car for about 12 years, purchased out of Wichita KS, car is originally from Oklahoma. The convertible top has been chopped 2 inches, has a Fat Man stage three front frame stub with polished front control arms, disk brakes, power steering, complete 1969 Cadillac drive train, 472 engine, automatic transmission and rear axle. Engine ran very nice when pulled from the donor Cadillac, donor car had 90,000 original miles on drive train. New tilt/telescopic steering column, tail light lenses, glove box liner, sill plates, wood convertible bow, windshields, very nice set of rear fender spears and extra side trim, stone guards, grill, tail light housings and many more new/original parts. Sheet metal is very straight, and in good condition, trunk floor is solid, front floors are solid, small patch will be needed behind the rear stone guards and under the rocker trim. Frame is solid and free from any damage.This 49 is a great start to a mild custom build on a very desirable body style.
