Description:
1964 Cadillac Fleetwood
Up for auction is my 1964 Cadillac Fleetwoo, 4 door hardto, purchased from an estate sal, barn find given very little work aside from a wash job . Car is in great shape overal, we have done a few things to make it run and drive and it has a clear Texas title ready to transferENGINE AND DRIVETRAINoriginal 429/automati, does not smok, runs good and fires right up every time, has a stumble when you go to mash the peddle to pass traffic , has an edelbrock carburetor and fresh tune up item, plugs wires and cap rotor points etc. sounds great and transmission does shift wel, car has only been driven a few miles since being put back on the road but is a blast and has a ton of powe, miles are unknown but may be original tags are not current, engine has all equipment intact a/, power steering etc and if you look at the pictures you can tel, brakes wor, but are a bit sof, I did not wash or clean anythin, no shiny cover u, I am not hiding anything in the sale of this car and I am honest about its conditio, driveline has no rear end noise and front suspension is snug but everything is ol, take that into consideration .
INTERIOR
Headliner and seats are super nice as you can see in the picture, everything does need a good cleanin, dash does have some cracks and door panels are intac, drivers door panel is in need of some help where all the window switches g, all power windows do wor, including vents but move slow and need cleaning and lubricatio, horn button on dash and turn signal lever broke at some point and the mounted the switch on the tilt lever to keep driving the car and legal all interior is there though nothing is missin, please see the pics again I am not spraying shiny stuff on anything to hide what the car i, some elbow grease would go a long way in sprucing up the inside.
EXTERIOR/ FLOORS / BODY
Floors are super nice as is the trun, pictures show all areas in detail for all to se, left front outer cover by the muffler is rotted away but not the main floor just the piece that unbolt, some rust in door corners and such as can be seen in the picture, bottom of front bumper is rotted on the corners. trunk floor is rust free also and has factory upholstery in it and a 1920's typewrite, it goes with it .Car is fairly straight has all skirt, hubcaps and trim is all ther, please look at the pictures some is dented some is nic, the red paint job is literally falling off the ca, I would say a good pressure wash would strip a lot of it awa, it is flaking all over and was done poo, back trim has some bubbles showing but does not appear to go thr, again I am hiding nothing and want someone to purchase with confidence .
ALL IN ALL
The car is pretty much a great starting place for a project buil, car will run and drive down the roa, move on a trailer or transport with no problem, but does need tuning and work to be a daily drive, Rest assured I hide nothing in this listing and I have tried to describe it as best as possibl, good and ba, if the car does not sell I plan to keep it and invest more money in it to get it back to a very nice drive, please look at all the pics as all sales are fina, will hold for 7 days after auction or as needed for transport tim, full payment required within 7 days of auction ending and a non refundable deposit required at purchase of $500.0, please be serious no time wasters and if u have no feedback or bad feedback notify me firs, thanks for looking
