"The Series 75 Fleetwood was Cadillac’s limited-production limousine and eight-passenger sedan, and featured an extended wheelbase for plenty of back-seat room and a “high headroom” taller passenger compartment. There was an optional interior partition with a power glass window that defined “Imperial Sedan” limousine models. The car’s prodigious passenger capacity came from two rear-facing jumpseats in the back seat footwell. The Series 75 Fleetwood was also available as a commercial chassis for use as a hearse or ambulance. Engine power in the Series 75 was a 331-cid V-8 that delivered 230 horsepower. With a curb weight of 5,031 pounds and a wheelbase of 149.1 inches, the Fleetwood was far from a performance model. The commercial chassis featured an impressive 158-inch wheelbase. The standard transmission was a three-speed manual, but few of these were ever made. The optional four-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission was generally preferred."

For sale by the long time owner (since 1992) is this beautiful 1955 Cadillac Limousine. Not a restored show car, but a very nice combination of original, with some cosmetic and mechanical restoration over the years. Please let all the pictures load (there are over 120) to see the great condition of the Classic Cadillac. The odometer shows 77,300 miles and is believed to be correct, but is being sold as exempt because we have no verification. Meticulously maintained, the current owner used this car for the last 20 years in his limousine service in the Chicago area. It has a rebuilt (2005) 331 V-8 engine with power running through a 4-speed automatic transmission and it was repainted (2011) the original color. The interior is excellent and appears to be original except for the rear seats.The undercarriage is original with just general maintenance items as needed. What follows are the details.
