1940 Lasalle manufactured on the Cadillac Assembly line. Last year of the Lasalle line. This is the Model 52, with the sleeker Body Line. Overall a nice Street Rod with a ton of history. Car has 1965 Chevy 327 engine, with GM Aluminum Intake, GM HEI Dist.,Eldebrock Carb., Sanderson coated headers. Transmission is a TH 400 with shift kit, has a remote cooler. Rear End is GM 10 bolt with 2.56 gears. 1979 Camaro Subframe with disc brakes, drums on rear. Dakota Digital Dash. Tilt and Telescoping Column with Billet Specialties Banjo Wheel. 6 way power front seat from a 1986 Town Car. Southern Air A/C and Heat with Defrost (needs charging). Car was built in the 90's and does have some issues. Needs paint, and engine does burn some oil. Only real rust issues are under rear pan, does have a couple of small holes. Rear bumper has some small chrome loss. 95% of trim is near mint. Car does have all original trim.

History of car. I have photos of car in the early 1950's in Southern California, that has been passed down. What I've been told, car sat in a garage in Southern California from the early 50's until the early 90's. Original dash only shows 34,000 miles, new digital dash shows 21,500 miles, therefor car is believed to have 55,500 miles. I cannot document this but condition of trim backs this up.

I have owned this car since 2009, and has been a great car, runs, drives and rides very nice. Age and finances has caught up with me and I cannot do this car justice. Ga is a non title state, car will be sold with a bill of sale and an open California title signed by the previous owner. I have an appraisal of car from 2001 of $22,500.
