Mechanically this awesome Cadillac was very advanced for its’ period. a 353 cid Cadillac flathead V8, there is plenty of torque to push the big Fisher body down the road. Fuel is fed to the engine thru an original Detroit Lubricator carburetor, while cold air is inducted in a revolutionary new intake system that features ducting through the radiator. This new intake design allowed the air to be much colder before entering the intake manifold, increasing power. Mated to the engine is a 3-speed manual transmission, with third gear used as an overdrive. Stopping the massive weight of this land yacht are vacuum assisted mechanical brakes. All 6 (including the spares) tires and wheels are in fantastic condition with only very minor evidence of wear. The wheels appear to be the original and the white wall tires are newer BG Goodrich 6 ply radial with plenty of tread left.
