Description:

1973 Cadillac DeVille

The odometer shows 7K miles, I believe it to be 107K based on the condition of the car.
It is a fairly well preserved barn find from 1991, based on all records. The previous owner died and this was picked up from his estate.
That owner seems to be the second owner, where the car was originally from So Cal.
It know has a pretty even patina on all exposed metal parts, under the car and under the hood. It was stored in Oregon, there is no real rust-through or dangerous rust per-se, but it is not a desert car either.
It has some leaks and such, but it was gotten running and driving by my previous mechanic, who is now out of business.
I can't get the hood open for some reason, it was opened a couple months ago. Here is what I know was done to the car:
- New radiator- New belts- Many new hoses- New drive shaft seal- Trans fluid/filter done- Oil fluid/filter done- Power Steering Gearbox replaced- New tires- New dist cap/rotor/points- New coil- New plugs and wires- New gas tank + many fuel lines- New carbureator
Probably alot more. I am done with the car, since losing my mechanic, I am selling a bunch of stuff.
Paint and interior are very original and not bad - but by no means perfect. It is a car that was driven for about 18 years by 2 owners, who were adults, the stored away in a closed barn.
Overall, with some more work, it could be a nice driver for someone.
Expect a project - call it mild or major, up to you. It can be driven SHORT distances, but I wouldn't trust it for over a few miles. In fact I would say plan on bringing a trailer for sure.
Good luck, high bidder wins.
