1967 Cadillac Eldorado high end

I bought this car from the original elderlyowners son. It was sold new at Rickenbaugh Cadillac here in Denver. The interior is all original including the factory floor mat. The dash is perfect with no cracks as I have kept a "dash mat" on it from the day I got it. The car was had always been garaged but the Colorado sun did a number on the paint. I had it completely stripped down to bare metal and re-sprayed in original color. The car had never had any collision damage or rust save for a couple of small door dings. I have the original "crest" keys and an original Rickenbaugh key fob. It had been on display at the Forney Museum of transportation. Regrettably, because of storage issues, it has been sitting outside (under a cover) for the past 2 years. It has only been driven a little over 10K miles in the past 21 years. I completely re-did the fuel lines with the new FI fuel lines although I forgot to replace the "insulator" that was on top of the gas tank so it will need to be dropped and replaced so the gas gauge will work. It has the factory AM/FM stereo radio and rear window defogger. It does NOT have factory cruise control or tilt steering column. The air conditioning will need to be re-charged or converted to 134. The power antenna is not working. The headlight covers work as designed and each "square" was hand painted at the time of restoration. All the chrome except for the drip rails was removed prior to painting. Due to a rock chip at the back window, there is a bit of surface rust that has started and should be addressed. On the drivers side just behind the door, there was an apparent bubble in the paint which popped and you can see primer. It is only about the size of the end of a felt tip marker. When the car was judged, one of the comments was the judge had never seen the Styrofoam jack insulator still in place as they seemed to disappear over the years. Another interesting feature is the rear quarter windows are "manual" not power. Because the car has been driven so sparsely, I think it adviseable that be trailered till it can get the fluids changed and the brakes checked for safety.
