Always garaged and babied, this Eldorado was in storage 28 years with the original owner before being inherited by the son some years ago and has been covered and stored again since then and rarely driven. 1970 was the first year for the new 500 cubic inch engine, and the only year for the high performance 400HP 550 ft/lbs of torque designation. This car is whisper quiet cruising at 80mph, it's no wonder the 1970 Eldo was known as the gentleman's hot rod.Besides the standard equipment expected on a Cadillac, this car was factory ordered with the very rare power sunroof and power leather bucket seats. It really needs to be inspected to appreciate the condition, the care that has been lavished on this car is documented by paperwork from day one detailing all maintenance. The original rims and wheelcovers are included with good tires ready to be reinstalled if preferred over the aftermarket 17" rims currently fitted. The AC compressor recently stopped working and is currently being rebuilt and the climate control system will be operational again when the car leaves.I owned a '70 Eldorado back in the mid eighties, have owned several others since, and have been searching for a tripe black sunroof model for over 30 years.
