Car is being used as a daily driver around queens, hasn't been on the highway recently. Sometimes has trouble shifting into 2nd gear, has been driving and shifting fine some days and hard other days. Sold AS-IS, you will need to determine how to transport or drive to destination.
It has a lot of new parts in the two months- new right tire, front and rear brakes, refurbished carburetor & new accelerator pump, new resonator & exhaust pipe. Resonator is universal it's not as quiet as original stock one, fyi. Also, within last couple of years the starter and master brake cylinder was replaced. It's a carb model not fuel injected so it needs a few pumps of gas to startup. Just wanted to point that out because if you don't know you could assume something is wrong.
Car is in nice condition for its age, by no means a show car it could use a paint refresh as there are some imperfections (fade/surface scratches, spots) on the rear quarter panel part of the car. I have a little left over touch paint if you want it. Won’t take much to make the car from nice cosmetic to amazing cosmetically. No major rust and exterior will look like new with some professional attention. Still, compared to many Caddy's I have seen in person or on Craigslist this is in better shape than most. Interior is in great condition, no big leather rips and only 1 crack in dash. Interior is clean looking with most color unfaded and intact for the age. AC needs recharge and radio needs attention. Vinyl top is in great shape, no rips or tear or cracks. Shows 62K on the odometer. Windows and seats work.
Car is Claret Red color on the outside and red leather inside. This is the last year of the full size Cadillacs. 500 cubic inch engine and it is the last model with pillar-less windows. Car is almost 21' long. You will get looks, questions and cash/trade offers (never serious) every time you drive.
