1955 Cadillac Eldorado
This fabulous custom '55 Eldorado was designed by the Tompkins Brothers and Built by Hall of Famer John D'Agostino. "Elmerado" is a '50s dream car named for the Tompkins Brothers' dad, Elmer. It features incredible mint and teal pearl-blended PPG paints applied by the master, Art Himsl, over a crocodile- and Swedish-leather interior by Bob Divine Custom Interiors. The drivetrain has been completely redone by Steve White, Nick Kooy. This chopped and sectioned convertible features rolled pans, redesigned bumpers and grille with fantastic chromework by Sherm's Custom Plating in Sacramento. Built in 2005 this car has been a winner at every show, including the coveted Gene Winfield d'Elegance Award. Elmerado was also the feature on the European Tour in 2006. With Just over 1000 miles since completed, its still shows fantastic and timeless. As most Show cars, you would expect just a pretty picture on the outside. Not with this Cadi, The bottom had just as much care taken. Starting with a GM Performance 502 cu in / 502 HP Motor, 4 Speed 700R4 Transmission, 9 Inch Ford Rear End, Air Ride Technologies Suspension, Huge 6 Piston Polish Wilwood Disc Brake on all 4 Corners, Power Windows, Air-Conditioning and Fully Functional Chopped Convertible Top with Parade Boot.
