1967 Cadillac DeVille

I'm downsizing from suburbia to an in-town home. Going from 5 car garage to 3. This car just barely fits! So it makes sense to sell the car as opposed to finding a different place to live.

This is an extremely nice 1967 Cadillac Deville convertible. I bought it from a collector in North Carolina. I'm told the engine and transmission have been rebuilt, but don't have any documentation to back it up. Car runs and shifts like drivetrain has been re-done, but I can't prove it.It has new LEATHER seats- not the vinyl that so many people use to save a few dollars. New top, new carpet, new Michelin radials, new shocks, new top. Plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, battery are all new. The engine compartment is extremely clean. It's really a great car to enjoy right now.The car is not a trailer queen. Notice the crack on the passenger side dash, the car was repainted a while back and there is a bit of over-spray on some of the door/hood rubber. All the rubber on the doors and the window wipes should be replaced. It's serviceable but it's 50 years old.The previous owner had the hood resprayed and the color is one shade off. A little creamier that the rest of the body. The a/c compressor spins but I think it might need a new clutch. He also had a new Edlebrock carb installed right before I bought the car and I think it could stand a bit of adjustment. Nothing major, but not 100% right.
There is NO RUST on this car. I've been over it top to bottom. The only thing I've noticed is a very small bubble on the leading edge of the hood (driver's side). Am not sure if it's just a paint flaw or a small dot of rust.
So.... If you want a real car to enjoy right now, this is a great choice. Take care of it and you'll have a blast and probably sell it down the road for more than you have in it. After 1967, US cars had mandatory head restraints and more ominous pollution requirements. That's why GM bumped the displacement to 472 cu in from 429. Now is the perfect time of year for a convertible- remember "Isn't it time you stopped Dreaming and started Living?" Now's your chance.
Please ask any questions BEFORE you bid. Feel free to call me @ 678-575-3630.I'm a car guy and value my perfect feedback rating. I want you to be as happy with this car as I've been.
Thanks
