This 1979 Cadillac is a GREAT runner! Seriously this car is solid & runs & drives very well! It does have a coolant leak that I have not located. The leak looks like it is coming from somewhere on the passenger side by the firewall? At first I thought it was the heater core, but I find no leaks inside or around the core. The inside fan is not working for the AC or heater, fuse? It could also be a soft plug? freeze plug, anyway the last owner ( one Family Owned ) had filled the tank and drove two miles to his house when it started leaking coolant. He parked the car & it sat for a year. The car starts right up and again it runs GREAT ( amazing ) . I think it's a simple fix, no blown head gaskets or anything like that & it was never driven hot! The car should be transported to it's new home. This Cadillac is currently licensed & I have a clean Calif. Title. The car is razor straight and shows no signs of ever having any body damage. This Cadillac is completely original! the pain, interior ect. all original. The four Michelin tires are at about 40% tread life left. The cars drives and tracks correctly. The passenger power window is non -op, the drivers window works. The door panels need help as does the interior. The Landau top is shot! No rust ( rot ) as this has been a Desert car. The dash has one crack. The radio works. The lights work. This is an excellent restoration project. This is one of the last real Cadillac's before GM screwed them up, great body style. Look at the pictures as they tell the story. Restore it or drive as is after fixing the coolant leak. the engine is sanitary! This is actually a very sweet car, that just needs some love.........The fender fillers will need to be replaced as well, the desert sun has taken it's toll. The re-view mirror needs to be re-glued as well as the right hand outside mirror. They are present & pictured.
