Clean, straight Euro square body style body lines that just flow. Clear crisp paint that is not scratched, scuffed, worn or blemished. The vinyl top is just as nice as the blue body and the lower grey Euro panels that wrap around this Cadillac are just as impressive. All bright trim work, front & rear "REAL" chrome bumpers just smile back at you. All window frames, door post moldings are incredible for a hearse that has worked for the last 26 years solid. The optional wire wheel covers are not curbed damaged or missing spokes and shine like new.
The BUMPY looking belt line... The body of this 1991 Cadillac Hearse beyond the front doors is all composite, plastic, fiber glass built for weight and to resist rust. When the car was built, M/M put a metal belt line under the edge of the vinyl top. Over time, it corroded making it look bubbly. Ive open some of the side and cleaned out, the corroded belt line and now it lays down better. I just got to do the rest of the trim...
The front drivers compartment has perfect door panels that are not cracked, split or worn. The dark blue "velvet" upholstered interior makes you feel like royalty and is soft, not soiled or abused. The window switches all operate as the should as well as the 6-way power seats and recliners. Features include power steering, brakes windows, door locks, tilt telescopic wheel, delayed wiper control. Dual power mirrors. Super "KOLD" air-conditioning, Am/Fm/Cassette stereo, fold down armrest with cup holder and even still has the "COIN HOLDER" and the 2 cassettes from Cadillac still in the armrest that explain the features of your new "1991 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD" and, the "POWER ANTENNA" works perfect!!
Under the massive steel hood is GM,s bullet proof 5.7 liter, 350 cubic inch V-8 motor attached to its turbo 400 transmission that will out preform and last beyond any Zombie attacks!! Starts right up and you can just feel the power as it idles. Runs on regular gas and gets about 19 MPG at about 70 to 75 MPH. Trust me, I put 400 miles on it, the first day we picked it up, driving to LA.. Never got hot climbing the grapevine nor, does it leak and fluids ( That I know of)
Tires, brakes, suspension, exhaust, body frame show no signs of concerns to worry about...
The "CASKET BAY" If you think the outside is nice, wait till you get "rolled in" the back of the hearse... Oops, what i ment to say is, wait till you eyes pop back into your head!! The blue crushed velvet, side panels, doors, bulk head and headliner are all as nice when it left the factory. Soft, not torn or faded. All of the casket skid plates, rollers, bier pin tracks are all still in place and work nice.
In all, this is one beautiful, original, tight, eye catching hearse thats always been well cared for and appreciated by its owner.. This was taken in due to the fact, that owner is making space for construction and a "NEW" Hearse coming soon. Would make a great classic car for an existing mortuary or to a collector that can appreciate and nice hearse.
