I recently purchased this from the second owner. This was primarily a fair weather car, stored mostly at the original owners summer home. Always garaged and covered, no winters from what I understand. The indicated miles of 33000 miles are said to be original to the car according to the prior owner, however, I have nothing to document that and it could very well be 133000 miles. But given its condition, particularly the interior it wouldn’t surprise me if the miles were accurate. Well maintained, truly a “drive it anywhere” kind of car. While never fully restored it has been very well preserved. I suppose some would consider it a survivor? Runs and drives very well, comfortable and turns heads everywhere. Description as follows:
Mechanical:
• Correct numbers matching drive train, 390 V-8
• Power steering and brakes, brakes recently done by prior owner
• Automatic trans
• Very original engine compartment, recently detailed
• Everything works, even the clock on occasion!
Interior:
• 100% original unmolested interior
• Some areas show slight wear or discoloration, but overall in great shape
• Power windows and seat
• No air conditioning, vehicle was never equipped with it from the factory
Exterior:
• One repaint to its original color
• Roof was repainted in black, not original to the car, but looks sharp in my opinion
• All chrome and trim original and very presentable as is, but not perfect
• Still a very straight car, solid trunk area and floors as well as frame
• All original trunk area, spare and jack assembly still in place
• As mentioned earlier, this was primarily a summer car and has held up very well.Should be a fun, affordable classic for the next owner
