Car was restored in earlier years, last driven in 2002. Came from recent estate, owner had owned since 1996. I have the clear title for the car, and also a 1954 Cadillac Technicians Service Manual made for this 1955 Cadillac.
Original motor and trans are good, turns over freely but has no spark, fuel tank in tank, minimal rust in entire car. ready to cruise as is, or full restoration. Drivers glass was broken when we picked up the car, and the right front door glass is cracked, all other glass is good. Flat straight glasses that any glass shop can cut for cheap. Still have them for a pattern.
Car rolls and steers freely, ready to load on transport, forklift at site, clear title in hand.
Floors are solid other than drivers front floorboard. Pictures are taken of underneath of car. Frame is good and solid, as is most of the body. The hood was damaged on rear corners when hinges were stuck. Hinges have since been lubed, but are still stubborn 1955 hinges. I took the hood to a body shop and they can easily fix it, but it would ruin the patina for the car. The left front fender has surface rust shown where paint came off, but is still very solid. rear qtrs have light bubbling.
Car will include stock wheels with white wall tires holding air but dry rotted. Full set of hubcaps also. 20 inch wheels are shown only for effect and not included in sale. They are new wheels and can be included for an additional $900.
Interior is all intact but needs redone. Under hood is complete but needs tune up to run and drive.
Cars like this can bring from $2500-5000. Restored cars are ridiculous.
