I recently purchased this car

from an estate of a gentleman

located in Western New York

who drove the car up until 5

years ago when he began to

disassemble it to do a full

restoration on it.

He got as far as removing the

chrome and trim and did rebuild

the engine from bottom up .

AFTER BEGINNING TO RESTORE

HIS DREAM CAR THE GENTLEMAN

FELL OFF A BARN ROOF AND NEVER REGAINED HIS HEALTH AND

PASSED AWAY LAST YEAR

AND HIS WIDOW CALLED

ME AND OFFERED ME THE CAR

BECAUSE I HAD BEEN TRYING

TO BUY IT OFF HIM FOR 10

YEARS WHEN IT

WAS ON ROAD.

When I purchased the car

the front fenders were removed

as was front bumper and grille

work. They are currently on

with just a few bolts to allow

us to trasport from

New York to Florida.

Engine runs very well and

starts right up. Car runs and

drives and brakes work as

well.

I have only driven

around block a few times

and car does need to be

tuned up and gone through.

We put new plugs and points

and fresh gas and drove it

around the block with ease.

The car is a factory AC car

(would assume would need

to be charges and serviced).

Equipted with power windows

that wotked when parked.

Power seats do work now.

Has original glass

wiper container!

20miles on rebuilt engine

and transmission

Has new exhaust from

front to back

All chrome trim and panels

shown missing are in trunk.

all door handles are there.

Trim is in very nice condition

and all wraped in news

paper in trunk.

Bumpers and grille and taillights

very nice condition and

don't appear to need

rechroming and

just polished up.

Brand new correct carpet in box

Headliner in very nice condition

Rear seat in excellent condition

front needs redone

Side door panels in very

nice condition

Dash in nice condition

and need

new top cover

All glass in very nice

clear condition

EXTERIOR

Amazing condition and seems

to be original paint.

Body is very straight and

all panels line up.

Sides of car are very straight

and showing no waves nor repair.

Surface rust only at bottom

of rockers and quarters.

Surface rust only where

stainless trim goes.

Only rust hole in car is approx

4" on rocker panel below

passenger door.

Car is very straight and seems

to never have been in wreck.

There is a dent to front passenger

side quarter as shown in pic

and is an easy fix.

Bottom of rockers and quarters

are rock solid!

If I wanted to restore this car

it would take me three to four

days to prep and day to paint.

Depending on far you want to

take it car can be driven as

is or restored.

My plan was to put $3-4000

into making it a great driver

but have found a convertible

so lost interest.

Lots of extra parts: two pair

of headlite rims extra chrome

for front bumper as shown in pic.

We have spacer under hood

and all other parts for car

Entire hood is restored with

new insulation repainted and

engine detailed when rebuilt.

This is a $28K-35000 car

when restored to prime condition.

They are a rare find and bring

over $35-40000 in

todays market.

This fine Cady is a great car to drive as is or restore like buying a home its up to you how far you want to take it>
