1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 2 door coupe. Numbers matching original 73200 miles. Drives beautifully. Never any issues and reliable. Has had one re-paint and the interior has been covered in Green. Color is Teal. No rust w/ the exception of usual surface rust on the undercarriage. Nothing heavy. Has a few upgrades. HEI ignition. internal alternator. All original parts come w/ the car so can be put back to stock. New: tires. battery. alternator. ignition system. master cylinder. front wheel cylinders and hoses. plugs. plug wires. Comes w/: new weather-stripping. back wheel cylinders and hose. exhaust manifold gaskets. Bad: has a leak in the front brake hard lines. hose between the gas tank and hard line small leak. power seat motor needs servicing and exhaust leak from the manifolds. Small leak when first started but ceases once warmed up. Gaskets between engine and manifolds rotted out and just need to be replaced. Interior in excellent condition. Body is laser straight w/ no rust except surface rust behind front wheels and small spot on drivers side quarter. Has area behind both sides on lower fenders and drivers side lower quarter where surface rust had developed and previous owner bombed w/ whatever blue paint he had on hand to keep surface rust at bay until the areas could be touched up. The areas are metal and bodywork has not been performed there. Drives excellent. Uses no oil. No smoking or leaks. Has had recent tune up. oil change and transmission filter and fluid. Car drives beautifully. I drive it once or twice a week. I have other vehicles and I drive it just to keep the fluids/mechanicals fresh. Planned on major restoration w/ a few upgrades. A/C and heater presently do not work due to disabled and radio doesn't work. I disabled the A/C and heater because I was going to install a Vintage Air system anyway but all the original parts are still there and in good condition. Comes w/ an original working AM/FM radio. Has original wheel hubcaps. side rear wheel skirts and all parts to put back original. All trim is intact and not dented. Nothing has been done to the car that can't be reversed and be completely original. Everything works as it should w/ the exception of the power seats. The power seat motor needs servicing and I believe it is just a electrical issue. The motor still works but has a short that hasn't been investigated yet. This is a beautiful car and they don't come up for sale often. I was going to do a full restoration w/ the upgrades mentioned but just don't have the time to work on it. Too many projects.
