This is a true 1 Owner, 18k mile, Caddy that we purchased about 15 years ago from a long time customer of ours. We have kept it under a cover in our back showroom up until recently when we decided it was time to sell it. To nobodies surprise the 5.7L V8 fired right up and ran just as smoothly as it did when we tucked it away years ago. We inspected it, changed the oil, detailed it and as you will see it came out beautifully. It runs and drives just as nice as it looks. What would you expect from an 18,000 original mile Caddy??
This LOADED up Eldo has all sorts of additional options inside and out. The optional Slate Firemist paint still shines just like new. It is virtually scratch and flaw free. We note one very minor bubble spot near the left rear window glass, and some minor surface oxidation behind the left lower rocker trim. Beyond that this car is RUST FREE straight as an arrow! The trim looks fantastic and the chrome is in very very nice shape. We note some very light pitting on the mirror covers, door handles. and the lower part of the rear window sashes. Please view pics as it is minor. Overall the trim and finishes are exactly what you would expect from a garage kept 18k mile car. The plastic corner pieces are in tact and as nice as you will find. They are not broken apart like you usually find. The lights are all in excellent shape, showing nice and clearly. The Emblems all look to be in very nice condition and consistent throughout. The glass is flawless. The wire wheels covers are straight and look great as well. The tires show very good tread life however we do note some light drying on the edges. We note a small blemish in the left rear bumper rubber trim (see pic). Overall this car is stunning and needs to be appreciated in person.
Inward, you will find a SMOKE FREE time capsule. The seats are flawless and free of stains. The drivers seat is optioned with the cozy 6 way power adjust option. The carpets are clean and show minor discoloring where the mats didn't cover. The optioned rubber mats show like new as you can see. The headlined is tight and free from any rips or burns. The dash looks consistent with the age of the car and shows some tasteful patina. All switches, gauges, knobs and vents appear in excellent condition. The power locks and power windows all function as the should. The optional telescoping tilt steering wheel is a great added bonus. Complete with Cruise Control, Power Mirrors, and a AM/FM Cassete stereo this Caddy is outfitted for comfort. We note that the drivers seat controls are intermittent. We are looking into this. We also note that the gear indicator in the dash doesn't move when you shift the lever, this was a common condition that can be easily repaired or left alone. We also note a straight clean crack in the top of the dash. The door panel vinyl has some very very mild cracks as you can see. Overall the interior is unbelievably clean, odor free, and extremely comfortable to ride in.
Mechanically this car runs and drives well. The carb probably needs to be rebuilt as it seems to idle down really slowly then die. We have decided to leave it the way it is and let the next owner handle it. It has good compression and the fuel system and oiling all appear in good working order. . We note smokefree startups as well as when accelerating. The 5.7L revs smooth and easy and it accelerates and shifts nicely as you would expect. . Call today for all the details!
