Please allow me to tell you the story about this 1963 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. It is a one family owner car that was purchased new out of Wichita Falls Texas by a family in Oklahoma. This car was given to the man I purchased it from in a divorce and was last on the road in 1979. The man I purchased it from got this car when his mother passed away. He took it to have it painted in 1979 where the shop started to tear the car down to make it ready to paint. He then got into it with the shop and drove the car back to his shop where it sat until I purchased it and pulled it out on Monday March 28 2016. The gentleman I bought it from said that all the parts are with the car either in the floors or truck. As you can see from the pictures this appears to be true. This car has original miles at 64352 and was running when parked. This is a true barn find and has very little rust. The floors are still good. There is very minimal rust for a car that has sat that long. There was a little rust found in the bottom of one front fender and in the lip on the truck as can be seen in the last few pictures. We were able to air up 3 of the old bias ply tires that were on the car and just put a roller tire on the one that would not hold air. Has all 4 original hubcaps as well as the fender skirts. The rear seats and bumper were stored inside the shop for all these years. I am not sure what else to say about this true classic but it seems to me a once in a lifetime chance to own and restore a classic. Breaks did work when unloaded off of the trailer. I did not attempt to start this car but it was running when parked. This car cannot be driven and will need to be hauled away after purchase. This car is sold on BILL OF SALE ONLY NO TITLE. Balance to be paid in cash unless other arrangements have been made and documented within 5 days of close of auction. Item to be removed within 15 days of close of auction unless other arrangements have been made and documented.
