You are looking at a 1940 Buick 4-door Special. I bought this car recently from a lady whose husband just passed. He was in the process of making this a restor-rod type of a vehicle. He had the body off the frame, nd installed what appears to be a Camaro clip in the front and a Camaro rear end with coil suspension and trailing arms.

The motor is a 350 Chevy with a 350 turbo transmission. The driveline is made and hooked up. The motor is stuck and won't turn over. Plenty of room for a big-block motor under the hood. It still has the original fuel tank.

The body was bead blasted, nd all the body work was completed and primered. There are still a couple of spots to be repaired. The front of the frame and radiator support still needs some repair.

The body is in excellent shape. This car was a stock running car before it was taken apart for the newer running gear. This Buick has a new re-chromed grill, nd all the moldings are in excellent shape. A couple of holes were patched with welded-in metal. All the fenders, ood, nd trunk lid are in excellent shape.

The interior has been redone in corduroy cloth and is in nice shape. The headliner is good, nd just needs to be re-installed. This car has nice door panels and a nice rug kit installed.

When we got this car, t was semi disassembled so we hung it together to see what parts were missing. Parts that are missing include:

Center hood molding
Front center grill molding
Dash panel
Steering panel
Radiator
Rear window glass
Gas door

This 40 Buick has an excellent body and the frame is in nice shape. This car will have to be taken apart again to do some more repairs, ut is an excellent candidate to be made into a very nice street rod cruiser.
