Offered for sale is this beautiful 1966 Buick LeSabre Sport Coupe with only 24,637 actual miles. This car is in very nice condition for it's age with mostly original paint that presents very well but is not perfect. Built for participation in vintage automobile touring events, this Buick makes road trips a breeze.Paint and trim: The beige factory paint is mostly original with some touchups in places. There are some areas of wear and tear consistent with an automobile of its vintage. The grille and assorted exterior trim are in very nice condition and the bumpers have been replated. There are no stars or cracks in the glass.Drivetrain: The original 340 cubic engine resides in the engine bay. It runs well, has good compression and does not smoke or make any unwanted noises.. The points have been upgraded to electrionic and the fuel delivery system is FiTech fuel injection. The OEM 2-speed transmission has been upgraded to a professionally-rebuilt TH350. The rear end has been rebuilt as well and features 2.56 final drive ratio for effortless cruising.Chassis and suspension: There are new coil springs on all 4 corners. The front brakes have been upgraded to discs and the rear brakes have been rebuilt with new wheel cyllinders, lines, cables and shoes. The 15x7 Cragar wheels are new and the tires have less than 1000 miles on them.Interior: The interior is in extremely nice condition. The headliner, door panels, visors and dash are original and are in extremely nice condition. The rear seat is also original and very nice. The front bucket seats are new replacements for a 1966 Impala and have been recovered in the OEM material to match the rear seat. All foam and springs in the front seats are new. The console with clock has been added. The console features two cup holders, and the second cup holder for the passenger is easily removed if desired. The carpet and Hushmat sound deadening in the floorboard are new. Cruise control has been added for more comfortable highway cruising. Aftermarket air conditioning has been installed and blows cold.This car drives out exceptionally well with a very tight body and comfortable suspension. This is an ideal highway cruising car that is sure to attract heads at the next car show. When is the last time you saw a 1966 LeSabre coupe? Although I have no documention for the veracity of the mileage, the tightness of the body, the original paint and exceptional interior all present a car that in my mind is without a doubt presenting the actual, very low mileage.The car is located in Springfield, MO and I have clear title.
