1962 Buick LeSabre

Hi and Thanks for Looking.

I have for sale a 1962 Buick LeSabre 2-Door Hardtop. It currently has 96,866 actual miles. a 401 Cubic Inch 8-Cylinder Engine and a2-speed Dynaflow Automatic Transmission.

I purchased this vehicle 2 years ago from an estate in St Joseph Missouri. I have the history on the car documented in a 3-ring binder along with receipts to everything I have done to the car since I’ve owned it. Here is a partial list of what I have done to the car.

Flush/Clean the Fuel Tank, Install new Fuel Lines, and a new Fuel Pump.

New Holley Street Avenger with Electric Choke.

Pertronix HEI Conversion kit, New Plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor.

New Powermaster Alternator

New Belts, Radiator Hoses and Heater Hoses, Vacuum Lines and installed new Valve Cover Gaskets.

Serviced Transmission. The Transmission fluid was full and looked clean, but I drained it, removed the pan and cleaned the screen. The Transmission has absolutely no issues whatsoever.

New Brake Shoes and Wheel Cylinders on all four corners, New Soft Rubber Lines, Flushed and Cleaned the Master Cylinder, Repacked the Wheel Bearings. Had the front drums turned, and purchased new drums for the rear. The brakes work fine now, and are as good as drum brakes ever get.

Added a Bosch Tachometer and set of Triple Gauges

New Water Pump, Champion Aluminum Radiator and Electric Cooling Pusher Fan. The car runs consistentlyin the 180-195 Deg Range.

New set of Cooper Cobra Tires and American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels and New Shocks on all Four Corners.

Had the Front End Aligned. New Lower Ball Joints, Sway-Bar Bushings and End Links. The car drives straight and the Power Steering works Excellent

New Exhaust System Installed Front to Back with a new set of Turbo Mufflers

The paint is not perfect, but shines up nicely. Has had one repaint in the last 15 years. There is some filler and bubbling in the usual Buick places (Lower rear Drivers quarter, Lower Drivers Door and Lower Front Drivers Fender) as shown in the pictures, but the car still presents very well. The Floor Pans and the Trunk Pan are Very Solid.

The window glass is original to the car. All 4 windows roll up and down just fine and all of the glass is good.

The Interior is original to the car. It’s still in very good condition. The Seats, Door Panels, Headliner, Sun Visors and Carpet…all in great shape for its age.

The Chrome Bumpers and Stainless trim are all in good condition and showing what I would consider normal wear.

All of the Lights,Signals, Stop and Tail Lights work as well as the Gauges including the Fuel Gauge, and the Original AM Radio

I have the Original Owner’s Manuals and a Shop Manual Set for the car, as well as the original GM keys.

The car is currently tagged and insured, and I have a Clean/Clear Kansas Title in my name.I am willing and available to work with your shipper if necessary and welcome anyone to come and see/inspect the car in person.

It's not a “show car” which is why it's not $30K, but it is an honest and mostly original survivor. I would drive this car anywhere and not be worried about it.

Check my feedback and bid with confidence. I am willing to entertain cash offers, but please be reasonable. Also, I have posted links below to the YouTube videos I have taken of the car and driving it around town. Contact me with any other questions, or to set up a time to view the car in person.
