1994 buick roadmaster base sedan 4-door 5.7l TOWING Package

Price: - Item location: Newton Highlands, Massachusetts, United States
Description:

1994 Buick Roadmaster

The car is from Florida, from where I personally drove it under my own power to New England. It was stored here in a heated garage, so there is none of the rust that is common in these areas.

Only one owner until 100,000 miles. I'vebeen looking for one with the factory TOWING package for a long time. This isvery rare because only 1 out of 8 of these vehicles had this package. It israted at 5,000 pounds and you can easily hitch a camper trailer to it and livein it if you have no other options.

The TOWING package added 2.93 rear axle gears, a limited-slip differential, a heavy-duty cooling system including oil and transmission coolers, and a factory-installed Dynaride self-leveling rear suspension consisting of air shocks, a height sensor between the rear axle and the body, and an on-board air compressor. Most noticeably, the pair of electricfans positioned to the left under the hood have been replaced by a combinationof one conventional engine-driven fan and one electric fan.

That is, as you can see, such a car hasreinforced components and assemblies similar to the police version and willlast much longer than the same, but ordinary Buick Roadmaster.

I have supporting documents for theinstallation of the following spare parts:

- wire for towing installation, heater core, replace 2 tires (december 2021);

- alignment (december 2022);

- front brake pads, frontbrake rotors, rear wheel cylinders (october 2023);

- new battery Duracell (february 2024).

Among the shortcomings: the engine temperature sensor does not work, but the overheat warning lamp works. NeitherI nor the previous owner have ever had problems with this and I am sure that the new buyer will not have any either. The power window switch for the right rear window does not work. This window itself goes up and down on the driver's side.

I'm selling it because I don't actually drive it. In the few years I've owned it, I've driven it no more than 3,000 miles a year. I have other cars and it's time to move on and give it to someone who will have more time to enjoy this beauty.

Don't worry, this car has never towed a heavy trailer. Why? Because this is impossible without electrical wiring from the trailer to the car. And this wiring was already installed in my presence.True, I also did not have time to use it due to the circumstances mentionedabove.

The gift includes: an awning (almost new, only used a few times), 4 original wheel covers, 1 tire (same as the ones installed), original cover for the upper instrument panel in all additional interiors, protecting from the sun.
