Here's a good 1937 Buick 40 Series Special Restoration or Project Donor. Acquired from a guy who started with intentions. Health issues got in the way and force to sell. I bought it because of the potential. I have a few other projects in the works. Looking to pass this on. If not, I'll get to it. The car is basically solid. I haven't looked it over in great detail. There are rust issues to address. Not serious and not structural Trunk is loaded with parts. Most of the chrome trim, is reportedly in the trunk along with the air cleaner. Interior window trim and front bumper are in the car along with the seat frames (upholstery & padding stripped off. No rear bumper Drive train is still intact.  Engine reportedly fires with fuel in the carb. Gas line from the pump not connected, prevents running at this time. The Manifolds are super clean with new bolts, as is the block and head. I believe, at least, the head was off. There is a partial set of rocker arms and a connecting rod in the trunk. Evidence that engine work was done. The extent of which is unknown. Tank is still in the car, looks solid from underneath. Frame is very solid. Glass is all there but has multiple clarity issues. Good base for a stock restoration, resto mod or harvest a lot of original parts. I will be adding more information and pictures as I further inspect the car. Transferrable registrationis included.
