Buick 1927 RUMBLE SEAT Roadster, 25-year-old FRAME OFF RESTORATION,

Price: - Item location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
Description:

1927 Buick 27 24

I purchased this car as a total frame off restoration 20 + years ago and have driven it approximately 2,000 miles. I was told and given receipts for total engine rebuild (attached in photos) and a folder of receipts for brakes, clutch and many other restoration items. Engine runs very strong, however I recently drove it after sitting over the winter and noticed on occasion a POUNDING (KNOCKING) AT IDLE and believe that it is sticking valve. Will also leak some oil from side lifter or valve covers. Just replaced rear axle seal. Chrome redone by Paul's Chrome Plating. The paint has some nicks but still looks pretty good for 20 years+. All wood is good and convertible top replaced 5 years ago. Right side wind wing is cracked. The tail lights are from a Model A Ford to accommodate turn signals. The trunk rack is also from a Ford Model A. Converted to electric Carter fuel pump and gas tank cleaned /sealed. Sony Radio under the dash. I have tried to present this as best as possible; I welcome any questions because I don't anyone to be disappointed. This is a 95 year old car and is sold AS IS
