1967 Buick Skylark

1967 Buick Skylark 2 door HT. Original 340ci 2 speed automatic trans. 10bolt BOP rear.Power brakes and power steering
Car has had an easy life. Restoration of this beauty was completed approximately 10 years ago and has been babied since. The car is super straight and smooth. No body work is evident. One small scratch in LF fender goes unnoticed.I cant stress enough how straight the body is and what a great quality paint job she has.The vinyl top is near perfect.340ci runs strong. She has had a rebuild. Rebuilders tag on side of black. Rebuilt transmission at time of rebuild as well.I believe odometer shows true miles and hasnt rolled over. This was a mid Missouri car and when owner passed away it ended up in my hands. I was in such a hurry to get it I wasnt taking notes but this was either a one or two owner car before I got it.
Frame is solid. Floors are solid. Undercarriage looks great.
New stainless magnaflow dual exhaust. She has a nice mellow tone.
You can let this car sit. She wont give you any attitude about starting after sitting in the garage for a while.
I took off the carburetor. I dont believe it was original. I installed an Edelbrock 600 CFM. The 340 seems to like it. Electric choke and electric fuel pump mounted in front of fuel tank.
I also switched the original points ignition to HEI. I used big HEI with coil in cap. It would look better to use small HEI with external coil. Either way she runs great and I see an improvement over points.
I have new after market wheels on her now with new Mickey Thompson tires. I even found Buick logos for the center caps. LOOKS GREAT. I have the original wheels you can see in the last couple pictures if you would prefer them.
Solid trunk. Solid quarters, Solid floors. No rust on bottom of doors. No rust around vinyl top edges or trim.
She gets a lot of compliments but I barely take her out anymore. She needs a good home.
Gauges work. Good oil pressure. She maintains correct temps.
I do have original air cleaner.
Dash pad has a cover on it. It could used reupholstered. I have a dash pad core in the trunk waiting to be sent out so I dont have to let car sit without a dash pad on it. It just never bothered me enough to be in a hurry to get it done. Thats my only complaint on the car.
Engine does not smoke knock or burn any oil.
With the New Edelbrock carb I have yet to hook up "pitch switch" Something Buick used to put transmission in sport mode when you are heavy on the throttle. Im not heavy on the throttle. I baby her. So I just havent hooked it up to new carb linkage yet.
Car is for sale in other places as well. I can and will end auction ealry if needed. I dont need to sell.
There is no "make offer" button on this auction but you can send me an offer if it makes sense.I have been working at a classic car dealership for many years. I know how hard it is to get a car this solid and I know what they sell for. I am reasonable. Keep your offers classy please.
I can recommend a transporter if you need one. Cash, wire transfer or cashiers check. Car will not leave until payment is cleared or verified.

Im not a guy who needs AC. AC system is complete. I never needed it so I left it alone. Put a belt on it and service the AC if you need AC. I am old school. 100 degrees I am still cruising with the windows down.

I have two transporters I can recommend.
