Vehicle Details

Iconic well known survivor show car. Customized in 56/7 ish by Joe Wilhelm by doing custom taillight treatment and frenched antennas coming out horizontally from upper fins. Soon after Vern Lacey customized the front using Lincoln quad headlights, 56 olds bumper, extended hood and all the work to make it flow. Fully shaved car with driver door popper. This was a Salinas Ca car customized and remained there for many years. It had been stored away until in the late 70’s purchased and brought to Legendary painter Rod Powell’s shop. There the front end work was reworked body work redone and car painted. Harold olsen was the owner for short time before selling to Don Kober. It was seen at many KKOA meets in the Midwest, featured in a few magazines etc. for the last 23 years the car has resided in the Daryl Starbird custom car hall of fame museum until now. Car is in Lodi Ca. It is a fully functional running and driving car. Paint is showing a little age with some checking, few chips from it being driven. It shows well though. Has the original nailhead motor running good. Found a folder note in one ashtray stating “motor rebuilt 1986” the car shows 84k miles itself so hardly worn. I consider this a collector piece and should be preserved. Only looking to sell to buy my wife a newer SUV. Here is your chance to own a one of a kind well known kustom. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thank you for looking..
