Offered for Sale is a Stunning Black 1969 Buick Riviera with a Strong Running, #Matching 430 ci V8, and Smooth Shifting 3-Speed Automatic Transmission.
With Only 95,850 Original Miles, this Car Drives Like a Dream, Shows Very Well, has a Body that is Nearly Rust and Dent Free, and Shows No Signs of Any Body Filler. Please See Picture Showing Body being Tested with a Body Filler Meter.
The #Matching 430 ci V8 Engine has a Edelbrock (Weber Specific) Carburetor and a Edelbrock Performer Intake. The Engine Block Number is 1383424, which is Correct for a 1969 430 ci V8 Engine. The Paint and Body are in Great Condition, with a Color Change to Black from its Original Olive Beige (Paint Code 82). The Interior Trim is the Original Gold (Trim Code 692).
This Beauty has Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, and Power Seats. Gauges Work Fine, But the Stock Radio and Clock are Not Working at this Time. The Headlight Doors Work Fine, But Do Stick Every Now and Then. The Air Conditioning Unit is Not Blowing Cold Air. Driver's Side Power Seat Working, But Seems to Move a Bit Slow. There is an Aftermarket Stereo that is Installed Next to the Floor Shift Console, with Two Speakers on the Back Seat Floorboards. You Could Leave as-is and Enjoy the Stereo, and Easily Remove.
There is No Body Rust, Only a Few Very Small Dents, and No Signs of Any Bondo Body Filler. There is a Scratch in the Driver's Side Front Fender. Chrome is Good with Light Tarnish and Small Rash Mark Areas on Rear Bumper. The Interior is Good with Some Wear and Wipes to Driver's Side Seat. The Engine Shows Age and Wear from Use, and Could Use Some Detailing. The Undercarriage is Solid, with Surface Rust, as it has Not Been Painted Over with Most Cars of this Age....Allowing for a True Review of its Condition. The Wheels are in Good Condition, But There is Some Light Rust in Areas.
This Riviera was Purchased from an Estate. The Gentlemen that Owned the Car Made the Changes to the Engine, and Replaced the Standard Radiator Fan and Clutch with an Electronic Fan Unit that Attaches to the Back of the Radiator. This was Done to Allow the Car to Not Overheat as Much When the Car Was Taken in the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise. A Toggle Switch in the Car is Required to be Turned On with Running the Car. The System Works Fine, and the Car Does Not Overheat When Driving. I Did Let the Car Sit and Ideal for a Long Period of Time, and it Did Overheat After About 15 Minutes of Running. So, this System Can be Used As-Is, or Easily Converted Back to Original by Securing a New Fan Blade and Clutch and Installing. I have the Original Radiator Shroud.
Based on the Great Condition of the Body, Trim, and Paint, as well as the #Matching Strong Running 430 ci Engine and Smooth Shifting Transmission, this Car Can be Enjoyed Today and Taken to Car Shows with Pride. It is a Very Nice, Solid, and Strong Running Car, that Could Easily be Brought to the Next Level.
