1973 Buick Skylark --

This 1973 Buick Skylark is a very cool survivor-grade classic that upholds the grand tradition of luxurious and powerful Buicks. After all, with its coordinating color combo, A/C interior, and original V8 power, it's a terrific hardtop value.

The best Buicks of the '70s were both premium and powerful, and this one delivers it all on the first impression. It has Rallye wheels and a muscle car-like hardtop profile similar to its Chevelle sibling. But there's an extra hint of sophistication with the sharply pointed front end and hint of extended rear (it gives a bird-like beak and wingtips of this Skylark.) Plus, the way the big chrome bumpers fit snugly to this design is a true American work of art. It's all finished in the factory-correct Copper Mist. In fact, this is believed to be the original application, and it has a touch of the worn-in patina look that's quite popular. Plus, that white rub strip coordinates with the bright white vinyl roof to remind everyone that this classic look is also premium.

If you like the look of white accenting on the outside, then you'll love the factory-correct white interior. Buick's touch of premium is seen again in details like the pattern on the seats, as well as the wood-like trim on the dash and door panels. And while this look nice, there's an originality here that really gives you a great classic coupe feeling. This was an intermediate car in the '70s, but by today's standards, that means plenty of room for family and friends. Plus, the R134a air conditioning was recently serviced, so it will keep them all comfortable. But even if it's just you going solo, this Buick will keep you happy. After all, there's just something fun about rolling down all the windows and showing off the hardtop profile.

Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. This is a great piece to have, because Buick's version was known for being a torque king. That means a nice startup from every stoplight. Plus, a four-barrel carburetor ensures good power in all situations. It's the kind of classic you'll want to take on the road, and so there have been nice recent investments, like an aluminum radiator and new knuckles for the power steering. Plus, there are more comfortable driving features like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and power brakes w/discs up front.

Complete with owner's manual, if you like your classic coupe to be both distinctive and affordable, don't let this survivor-style Skylark slip away. Call today!!!
