1967 Buick Skylark

1967 Buick Skylark 2 Door Hard Top for Sale. I bought car in 1999, a rust free Southern California car. In 2005 I began a complete restoration/rebuild of the car. All work was professionally done. The interior, glass, weather stripping, bumpers, all moldings and engine were removed before body work and paint were done. At this time the Suspension was all rebuilt including SSBC Dropped Spindles with Disc Brakes in the front, new Eibach Springs and Edelbrock Shocks at corners, Edelbrock upper and lower Trailing Arms in the rear. A new Power Steering Box from Classic Performance Products with a 3.5 ratio and 1-1/4 Front Sway Bar were installed. The car also went to Energy Suspension where it was fitted with new Polyurethane Body Mounts between the body and frame.
Car was block sanded before paint was applied. Painted with PPG Deltron 2000 Gold Mist Metallic paint and clear coat at Steve's Body Works in San Marcos, California, by Steve Feher. It was then color sanded before assembly was started. The car was then carefully put back together over the next few year. A complete Legendary Interior kit was installed in the original Parchment color with the original Buick Skylark Stamping on the seats and door panels. A new headliner was also installed along with new carpets and packing tray. Dash was repainted and new dash pad from Just Dashes was installed. Original steering wheel was restored. All new weather stripping from Metro Moulded Parts were installed around doors, vent frames and windows, then all glass reinstalled and aligned. Electric door openers and door poppers with remote from Auto Loc were installed along with a manual safety release. Below dash a CD player was installed with new speakers in dash, packing tray and in trunk, which can be seen in pictures. The sub box in trunk contains 2 subwoofer speakers, Zapco Preamp, Audio Control 4XS Crossover, Denon DCA-3280 Amp and Sony XM-700A Amp. A Sun Pro 3 gauge pack with oil pressure, water temp and volt meter was installed below dash along with a Sun Pro tachometer.
The engine was the subject of a Hot Rod Magazine article in March, 2011. The 6 page article can be read in full by a google search of "How to Hot Rod any Engine" which will explain all the work that went into the engine. It was built and assembled at Joe Sherman Racing by Dave Nelson. On the Dyno it made 390 HP and 423 lb-ft of Torque. It has only 1000 miles on it since the build. The original transmission was rebuilt as was the rear end. Dual exhaust with Millers Custom Headers with Ceramic Coating were installed and run through 2-1/4 inch tubing with Flowmaster Mufflers to the rear.
The front bumper was custom fitted and chromed along with the rear bumper. Front grill and headlight buckets were all repainted and chrome polished. Wheel Vintique Series 64 Chrome 15 wheels were used with Spider Caps. Tires are Michelin Symmetry with 1/2 inch white walls. New left side mirror from OPG. Trunk was repainted and new liner and seal installed. Great care was taken in alignment of all parts as can be seen in pictures. The car drives and handles beautifully, and with 390 HP has all the power needed. All receipts are available. Any questions let me know.
