Offered for the first time from the estate of it's master builder is the most unique and exquisite 1925 Buick Individual Custom Roadster. This is a licensed and fully street legal automobile hand built by the master of a multitude of automotive skills.The late Bruce Wyman was accomplished on the English Wheel and a craftsman known throughout California for his skill and ability to build or reproduce any automotive component. This 1925 Buick was his final creation, the culmination of a lifetime spent honing his skills. a 1950 Buick 263 cubic inch valve in head straight eight bored .040 over and fitted with dual Weber carburetors, it produces approximately 150 horsepower driven through a Borg Warner 5 speed gearbox with Camaro gears and a final .63 overdrive. A Nissan Truck rear axle was chosen for favorable weight and size, proper gearing, correct track, compatible brake size, and correct wheel bolt circle.The frame is a 1931 Chevrolet, narrowed at the seating area. The front axle is a 1948 Chevrolet truck direct bolt-in providing proper spring width, front track, and brakes. Wheels are 1931 Chevrolet 18 inch wires widened 1 1/2 inches. The steering is 1970s Ford pickup converted to cross type steering, better than drag link type.The body is hand made 18 gauge steel. Headlights are Adlake 3150s from a 1916 Stevens Duryea fitted with halogen bulbs. The total weight of the vehicle is 2520 pounds. A snug top is provided.This unique roadster was created to be a fast, fun, and unique yet a totally reliable and roadworthy vehicle. Road tested on a 1000 mile plus run to Oregon it performed flawlessly. Shown once for competition at the Ironstone Concours where it took first in the Individually Created Automobile class.Tens of thousands of hours went into the creation of this vehicle which is now available for a fraction of its creation cost.
