For Sale is my 1977 Buick LaSabre.THE GOOD: This was a one owner car that was always garaged with only 65,000 miles. It's all original paint with no rust or rot, all chrome and stainless is in great shape. Interior is in great shape with one wear mark on the drivers side carpet.THE BAD: The engine has a spun bearing and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. It does run but squeals and knocks and probably won't run for long. The windshield needs replacing. If the winning bidder is interested I ordered a new windshield from a local glass company, before I found it had a bad motor. They have it and will install it for $240, you can deal with them directly. I bought the car from a local car dealer who got it from the original owners son. It had been sitting in his garage for years and didn't run. I changed the distributor cap, rotor, module, coil and battery. It fired up but sounded awful. I guess that's why it was parked years ago.Looking at the condition of the car, how well it was cared for I was surprised that the engine bad. The radiator was dry, I'm assuming that led to the problem but I don't know. It's a great project for someone who would like to drive a nice car from the 70's at a very reasonable price. All the tires are very good, the spare and jack are in the trunk.
